Hello Everyone today in this article i will show your how you can easily secure your home WiFi and hide it from hackers and i am also going to show you how you can connect your hidden WiFi in your laptop or desktop.

Open your web-browser and type "192.168.1.1" in address bar after this the modem setting page is open in front of you now enter username and password of your modem which is "admin" and "admin" by default. 

Okay now go to Wireless setting and than security now you can see a option Enable WPS option disable this option and save this settings.

Now Hiding WiFi name: go to wireless and than basic option here you can see a option Hide SSID Broadcast option tick that option. SSID is the name of your WiFi so set your SSID name which you remember easily. because you need it at the time of connecting hidden WiFi and than save. after this your modem will be restarted automatically and your WiFi is disconnected. 

Now How You can connect your Laptop or desktop with this hidden network just simply follow my steps:

  • Step 1: Go to Control panel and than open Network and sharing center.
  • Step 2: Click on setup a connection or network than select  manually  connect to a wireless network.
  • Step 3: Now type the SSID name in Network Name than select Security type and than type your WiFi password in Security key and than tick on connect even if the network is not broadcasting.
their you go your Laptop or Desktop is now connected to your WiFi.
