| Twitter Doubles the Characters limit to 280 |
According to Twitter the limit of 140 character limit for tweet is ended now nearly for everyone. Now user can write their tweets in up to 280 characters. But there are some users who can only tweet up to 140 character languages like Chinese, Japanese and Korean will still have original 140 character limit. That’s because writing in those languages uses fewer characters.

The company says that Maximum tweet were written in English hits the 140 character limit. So people have to spend more time for editing their tweet according to the limit or they don’t send them out. also now day's Maximum users use twitter on their Smartphones so this is also a main reason why Twitter Push this 140 Character limit to 280.
Now after this update twitter hopes that the expanded limit will get more user’s tweet which helps in the user’s growth on the site. Twitter has been testing this new limit for weeks so it’s in testing mode but now from today twitter is roll it out.
