"Delete for Everyone Feature"
WhatsApp has officially rolled out its new feature called “Delete for Everyone” globally for both Android OS and iOS. It allows people to delete their sent messages including media within seven minutes. To use this feature both sender and receiver have to update their WhatsApp to the latest version. Some people or reviewers call it as a recalling feature. This feature is quite useful when you mistakenly send a message to anyone or any media file to anyone so than you can delete that message or media file. This feature works for individuals as well as group chats.

It is very important that you have to delete that message or media file within a seven minutes and no longer than that. After deleting both sender and receiver will get a notification of successfully deleted.




So how you can delete message or any media let me show you…

Select the message which you want to delete by simply long press on it. Then you’ll able to see a delete icon on the top bar so tap on it and then you’ll able to see this “Delete for everyone” option just tap on it and there you go. You can do the same for media files and this works for individuals as well as group chats. After deletion both sender will get a message that reads “You deleted this message” and the receiver will get a message that reads “This message was deleted”.
